We had Els, Sam and Jane over the other day. There are some nice pictures from the visit I thought I'd share.

els was really sweet and drove martijn and i to a house viewing we had later that afternoon. we decided it wouldnt be somewhere we could see ourselves living. it was a strange experience for me cos you're there with all the other people who are eligible at once. you are also expected to fix up the apartments yourself here when you move in. there was no floor and the walls were trashed and so on.
now im going to post some pictures of our apartment cos i have been promising my mom these pics all summer....
this is what you see when you walk in our front door
if you look to your left you see our bedroom but this room is always cluttered and messy so this is as close as you're gonna get for now
but this is the view from our bedroom window which most days is fillled with screaming school kids
the door you see in front of you when you first walk in our apartment is our bathroom, i left the toilet outta the picture
this is one half of our living room, see the nice couch we got from nicoline and joop as a house warming present
the other side of the living room (don't get me wrong its a small room)

our garden is dumpy so we never hang out in it but at least its a good source of light in our cave house.
we like our house despite the fact something is always wrong with it. we won't be living here much longer so i thought i should share it with you before we move.
